Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox had studied for three years at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. She was able to survive by surviving on a student stipend, and work part-time jobs. Lennox was a student in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied with her performance as compared to the performance of her peers. She began considering different options. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. She left the band before they appeared on I.T.V's talents show New Faces. From 1977 to 1980 she served as the singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British pop group. They met Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics.
